ShitStorm was first formed in the colons of three middle-aged perverts in Saudi Arabia back in 1978 as a response to the influence of American pop culture.
After releasing 6 full-length albums and 9 singles over a span of 14 years, the band dismantled in November of 1992 when the original drummer, Nels Furtado was hit by a runaway kite on a windy day and landed himself in a hospital with piece of wood through his right temple. After extensive medical examination, and the observation of many bizarre symptoms, a doctor looked inside Nels' rectum, and discovered a new form of infection now called "Nelly Furtado Disease". After surgery and a battery of antibiotics, the drummer was cured and the band was unable to continue.
After 7 years, the band formed again in Edmonton Alberta, Canada in the colons of three new middle-aged perverts, and has managed only to produce a handful of mp3's, and play under a dozen shows in their own home towm over a period of 3 years plus.
